During your Tarot reading, you and I will create a sacred space that honors the nervous system, engages the mind and invigorates the heart. The cards will serve as doorways opening into higher states of consciousness, and together we will read them for clues as to how to integrate the soul’s longing with the earthly demands of “life in a body.” You will be called to activate your own spiritual imagination, intuition and inner knowing, building a path toward soul-centered confidence that you will guide you long after the the session concludes. You may come with specific questions or with a general desire to connect more deeply with your own cosmic consciousness. Wherever you are, in whatever circumstance, the cards are here to guide you. All sessions are conducted via zoom.

In this three-session creative residency, you will draw in the power of Brigid’s sacred forge. With help from the Tarot, you will cultivate a conversation with your creative process—meeting uncertainty with curiosity, uncovering hidden possibilities, and listening for the deeper story your work is asking to tell. Between sessions, you'll have space to reflect, create, and return with fresh questions as your project evolves.
The Forge provides a beneficial framework for setting and manifesting specific intentions. No matter the scope of your vision, the three-part structure supports consistent engagement with your tools, practices, and mediums. It realigns action with core values, giving way to creation that serves the soul’s evolution.

Chances are, that if you are considering a formalized Tarot reading, your divine channel is eager to open and lend you its support. You don’t have to wait to begin receiving it!
In the days leading up to your reading, try to pause occasionally during your day to check in with yourself through somatic movement, brief breathing exercises, or simply tuning your senses to your environment: sounds, colors, the quality of light.
It’s normal to experience vivid dreams in the nights prior to your reading. Write them down if that feels comfortable. Sometimes, images from dreams will surface in the cards and give rise to deep insight.
In general, practice becoming aware of your body. Your emotions. Your surroundings. Get off your phone a little bitmore if you can. Imagine the world around you is pregnant with spiritual meaning. What feels replete with life? What sharpens your own sense of vitality?
Expect to bring some of your observations into the session. A good Tarot reading is a conversation, rather than a monologue from me. That doesn’t mean you have to have anything prepared. But you might prepare yourself to open up a little bit. If that feels confronting to you, don’t worry. The cards can work with even just a little bit of receptivity and courage. No matter what, I respect your boundaries (always).
Come with specific questions if you’d like (open-ended are better than yes/no), but asking for general advice or guidance is often just as fruitful.

While AI can generate detailed card meanings and even relate them to your personal situation, it cannot duplicate the experience of receiving a Tarot reading with a real, human, intuitive guide who cares about your well-being.
Tarot readings belong to what I call the “Sacred Social Sphere.”
Though I’m not a priest or psychologist—my readings rely on the same kind of sacred social container as described in the Bible (“Where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them” Matthew 18:20) and in Jung’s theory of the “analytic third,” where psyche, encouraged by the presence of an analyst, alchemizes the dream world with reality.
A Tarot reading is relational—between you and me (your reader), and the Divine, whom we call in through the magic of our shared attention on the cards.
Reading cards in the Sacred Social Sphere honors not just the mind and spirit but the body as well. Here, the nervous system may co-regulate, igniting the spark of creative collaboration. We access cosmic support in the imagery of the cards to break through stagnant patterns of personal suffering and forge new paths forward.
Humans are social creatures. And our divinity will always be relational as well as personal.
If a professional reading is not accessible to you, I would encourage you to pull and discuss your cards with a trusted friend or confidant rather than relying solely on technology for spiritual support.

I do not personally practice Tarot as a form of divination but rather as an avenue for spiritual reflection, psychological reframing, and personal empowerment.
That said, it is common for the cards to reflect seasonal life-changes. Because life transitions themselves are on-going, the cards that indicate them can seem to have a predictive quality.
Even in cases where the cards point toward future changes or reflect past influences, the emphasis (for me) remains:
What can we do with this energy in the present moment?
What is it here to teach me?
What does it want from me, if anything?
How can I take care of myself when this energy “comes to call”?
The cards invite us into an imaginative exercise where we can start to ask ourselves more open-ended, spirit-centered questions about ourselves, our situations, our relationships.
It’s a kind of psychic play that helps us walk into the future with GREATER influence on our experiences, rather than locking us into specific, predictive outcomes.

Tarot is a spiritual tool that can easily be integrated alongside most traditional religious practices. The cards have been developed over many hundreds of years to incorporate myth and religious symbolism from a wide range of sources, many of which are likely to resonate with your own faith practice.
My readings tend to incorporate the symbols of western mythology, astrology, and Celtic/European pagan traditions, sometimes remixing the protestant associations that I was raised with as a child. But it’s my life-long love of art, music, and storytelling that most deeply informs my approach to the cards.
No matter where YOU come from, know that I’m here to support you and your spiritual life. That includes respecting your associations and beliefs—whatever they may be.
Sometimes our religious history can make us nervous about drawing specific cards. Maybe the thought of drawing the Devil card causes your chest to tighten. Let me know and we’ll take it out of the deck. You don’t have to work with anything that causes you undue discomfort.
If you are committed to a specific faith tradition, you may want to consult your religious leader or guide about booking a reading. But please know that the Tarot cards themselves are neutral of any specific religious dogma and (I believe) they are here to serve us within whatever faith practices we keep.

At some point in life, most of us will encounter some moment or mystery that we cannot explain with our rational mind.
These experiences can leave us feeling exhilarated, awestruck or curious. On the flip side—we might become overwhelmed, upset, or just plain confused.
Tarot can provide a supportive container for grounding these experiences within a larger context of extra-sensory perception, synchronicity and mystical receptivity.
However, please note that I don’t use my practice to talk to specific spirits or deities. My priority is focused on understanding YOUR energy as it relates to both the material and ethereal world.
While the cards may not be able to “explain” the existence of the supernatural, a Tarot reading can help you to integrate the inexplicable within your present day reality. And support your spiritual growth along the way.
